Camping Village Rocchette is situated in an authentic area of natural beauty along the wonderful coast of the Tuscan Maremma. It is a strategical place to reach several points of interest of the surroundings and to discover the secrets and the history of the ancient civilizations. Pisa, Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra are easy to reach within one hour driving or with daily-organized tours; the islands of our stunning archipelago (Elba, Giglio, Giannutri, Pianosa and Capraia) are also something you cannot miss. A centuries-old pineforest divides the Camping Village from the wonderful beach of Rocchette. It only takes 10 minutes walking or 5 minutes by bike to reach the beach. The beautiful medieval town of Castiglione della Pescaia is the nearest town (only 6 km far) and it is easy to reach on the cycle path or by shuttle bus (june/september).
THE HOLIDAY VILLAGE (***)
The bungalows are located in the central part of the Camping Village and the typical Mediterranean vegetation surrounds them. The first built 105 brick bungalows are all provided with air conditioning, tv, kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom with shower, a small living room, private veranda with wood table and benches, ideal spot to enjoy your meals. The holiday at Camping Village Rocchette matches everyone`s needs both to relax and have a good time.
Among them, 30 Deluxe Bungalows are the perfect union between style and innovation with private entrance, wide glass doors, spacious outside veranda. Air-conditioner. Double bedroom and a twin-bedded one (it is possible to add a third bed), living room with sofa bed, kitchen or kitchenette, bathroom with shower. Free WiFi Internet Connection.
The Lodge Tents are equipped with every comforts: one bedroom with double bed and another one with single bed and bunk bed, wide living room with kitchenette, bathroom with shower and sink. Big outside veranda, living room with table and chairs. The wooden natural-colored inside walls wonderfully match with the surrounding environment deep in nature.
The Mini Lodge Tents, 2 people, provided with a modern and comfortable bedroom with view on the sky and mini fridge (linen and towels not included; common services).
THE CAMPING
The camping is situated on a surface of 70.000 Sqm with pitches in a suggestive natural area under a Pinewood. Camping service is available; all Pitches are equipped with electric hook-up point; some of them have also water drainage system (Comfort Pitches); totally recently renewed toilette block is in the middle of the area, with Turkish bath.
Caravans for rent are also available, all with outside veranda equipped with table and chairs, gas stove, refrigerator, external sink with cold water (without private bathroom, linen and kitchenware not included).
Our Mobile Homes, all with outside veranda equipped with table and chairs, have a living room with kitchenette, small sofa bed and table, double-bedded room next to a small bathroom with shower, wc and washbasin, small twin-bedded room. Air conditioning (bed linen and towels not included).
The animation crew of the Camping Village Rocchette organizes many activities during the day: sport competitions, water gym and many others. In high season, you can enjoy amusing shows (cabaret, variety shows, plays, comedies, musicals), participating also in first person. For our little Guests (5 -12 years old), mini club is available.
